Murgh Cholay by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Chicken ½ kg
  • Chick Peas (boiled) 2 cup
  • Tomatoes 250 gms
  • Onion 1
  • Red Chili Powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala 1 tsp
  • Whole Garam Masala 1 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Ginger for garnish
  • Green Chilies for garnish
  • Coriander Leaves for garnish

Method:

  1. In a pan, heat oil fry the onion till golden brown and take it out in a bowl.
  2. In a blender, add onion and tomatoes blended well.
  3. Add chicken in preheated oil and cook until the color change add onion and tomatoes.
  4. After this, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala powder, Whole garam masala, ginger garlic paste, salt and cover it.
  5. When chicken are tenders, add boiled chick peas.
  6. In the end, sprinkle finely chopped ginger,green chilies and coriander leaves.
  7. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Murgh Cholay is ready.
