Fish Mango Curry by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Fish 1 kg
  • Dry Mangoes 2
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
  • Coriander Powder 2 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Fenugreek Seeds 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves 8
  • Red Chili Powder 2 tsp
  • Onions Paste 1 cup
  • Green Chilies 4
  • Coriander Leaves ½ bunch
  • Cumin Seeds Powder 1 tsp
  • Hing ½ tsp
  • Oil as required

Method:

1. Marinate fish with salt and leave it for half an hour.
2. In a bowl, add water , hing and wash fish, leave for 1 hour.
3. Now in a wok, add fenugreek seeds and curry leaves.
4. When aroma comes add onions paste, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, salt, red chili powder, turmeric , cumin seeds powder and fry well.
5. Add water and dry mangoes, leave it without cover cook on medium flame for half an hour.
6. Now fish take it out in hing water and pour in masala , cook for 20 minutes.
7. In the end, sprinkle coriander leaves and green chilies, removes from the stove.
