Zafarani Pasanday bY Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Undercut Beef Fillet 1 kg
  • Yogurt 375 gms
  • Onions 250 gms
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Saffrron ½ tsp
  • Cumin Seeds 50 gms
  • Desiccated Coconut 50 gms
  • Poppy Seeds 50gms
  • White Cardamoms 6
  • Cinnamon Seeds 1 piece
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Fennel Seeds 1 tbsp
  • Black Peppercorns 1 tbsp
  • Nutmeg, Mace ½ tsp
  • Citric Acid ½ tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 2tbsp
  • Coriander leaves as required
  • Green Chilies as required

 

Method:

  1. In a pan, heat oil add onion and fry.
  2. In a tawa, add fennel seeds, cumin seeds, desiccated coconut, poppy seeds, cinnamon seeds, nutmeg, mace ,white cardamoms, black peppercorns fry and blend.
  3. Then add red chili powder, turmeric powder,yogurt, salt, citric acid and mix.
  4. In pasanday, pour mixture cover it and cook for half an hour.
  5. Zafarani Pasanday is ready.
  6. In the end, sprinkles coriander leaves, green chilies and serve.
