Sabzi kheer

Ingredients:

  • Bottle gourd 1 to 2
  • Milk 1 liter
  • Rice 4 tbsp
  • Khoya 125 gm
  • Kewra essence few drops
  • Cardamom powder ½ tsp
  • Centaurea 5 gm
  • Tukhm imli kla 5 gm
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Clarified butter 4 tbsp
  • Dry fruits for garnish

Method:

  1. First peel to bottle gourd (Lauki) and deseed them to grate.
  2. In a pan heat 4 tbsp clarified butter
  3. Add grated bottle gourd with ½ tsp cardamom powder to suate and cool it.
  4. Then add 1 liter milk with 1 cup sugar to mix and cook on low flame till it starts to boil and sugar dissolves.
  5. Then add 4 tbsp rice powder.
  6. When batter turned thick add 125 gm khoya to mix and dish it out.
