Bhatura

Ingredients:

  • For Dough:
  • All Purpose Flour 500 grams
  • Baking Powder 1 tsp
  • Semolina ½ cup
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • For Filling:
  • Chicken (Finely Mince) 200 gram
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper Crushed ½ tsp
  • Lemon Juice 1 tsp
  • Fresh Coriander ½ Bunch
  • Green Chilies 4-5
  • Clarified Butter 6 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Take a mixing bowl add ½ kg of all purpose flour add 1 sp of baking powder
  2. Add 1/2 cup of semolina, 1 tsp of sugar and a pinch of salt mix it well and make a soft dough.
  3. Then heat a some oil or clarified butter in a cooking pan add 1 chopped onion, 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste fry
  4. Add 200 grams of chicken mince when the chicken colour is changed
  5. Add tsp of red chili powder , ½ tsp of crushed black pepper,1 tsp of lemon juice
  6. Add ½ bunch of fresh coriander 4-5 green chilies and a pinch of salt.
  7. Take a dough and make a small balls roll the each balls spread the chicken minces and close with the help of hand.
  8. Heat the oil in a deep wok deep fry the bhatura’s and serve it hot.
