Bhature

Ingredients:

  • Flour                            2cups
  • Semolina                    1cup
  • Baking soda               1/2tsp
  • Salt                               1/2tsp
  • Sugar                           1/2tsp
  • Yogurt                         1/2cup
  • Oil                                 as required

Method:

  1. Soak semolina in water for 20mins and set it aside.
  2. Now in a bowl add flour, salt and sweet soda to filter.
  3. Then add sugar, soaked semolina and yogurt in warm water to knead and roll.
  4. After a while apply oil by hands and knead it again till it the dough gets soft and gets set.
  5. Now add oil and wrap it in polythein bag and set it at a warm place for 3-4hours.
  6. After that make 8-10 balls from the dough and shape it in cylindrical form
  7. Now deep fry it till they are golden brown to serve.
