Fried Chicken Pulao Platter

Ingredients:

  • Chicken                                                                     1 kg
  • Coriander leaves                                                     ½ bunches grinded
  • Green chilies                                                            10 grinded
  • Ginger garlic                                                             1 tbsp
  • Cumin roasted and crushed                                  1 ½ tsp
  • Turmeric                                                                    a pinch
  • Lemon juice                                                              2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes                                                                   2 blended
  • Salt                                                                             1 tsp heaped
  • Bread crumbs                                                           as required
  • Eggs                                                                           2 beaten
  • Ingredients for pulao
  • Rice                                                                            ½ kg
  • Yogurt                                                                        ½ cup
  • Brown onion                                                             3 tbsp
  • Green chilies                                                            3
  • Ginger garlic paste                                                  1- ½ tsp
  • Allspice                                                                      1 tsp
  • Whole mixed spices                                                1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves                                                             8 – 10
  • Potatoes                                                                    4 fried to golden brown
  • Saffron                                                                       ¼ tsp
  • Yellow color                                                              pinch
  • Kewra water                                                              1 tsp
  • Boiled peas                                                               1 cup

 

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with all the given spices and cook for 20 minutes till water dries and chicken tender
  2. Roll chicken in bread crumbs, dip in eggs and deep fry.
  3. Method for pulao
  4. Boil water with salt add rice with yellow color and whole spices, cook till rice done
  5. Now heat ¼ cup oil add ginger garlic paste, brown onion
  6. Add green chilies, yogurt, allspice, top with boiled rice
  7. Leave it on dum with saffron and Kewra water for 15 minutes
  8. Before serving, mix rice well, put on a platter, surround with fried potatoes and chicken.
