Teriyaki Rice with Chicken

Ingredients:

  • For chicken:
  • Boneless chicken (cut in strips)  250 grams
  • Soy sauce                                            1 tbsp
  • Teriyaki sauce                                    1 tbsp
  • Sesame seed oil                                               1 tsp
  • Sugar                                                     1 tsp
  • Oil                                                           2 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic                                    1 tsp
  • Sesame seeds                                   for garnish
  • Ingredients for rice:
  • Boiled rice                                           3 cups
  • Oil                                                           ½ cup
  • Soy sauce                                            1 tbsp
  • Brown sugar                                       1 tbsp
  • Carrot (finely cut)                            ½ cup
  • Teriyaki sauce                                    1 tbsp
  • Spring onion (finely cut)                                ½ cup
  • Capsicum (finely cut)                      2 tbsp
  • Boiled peas                                         ½ cup
  • Crushed black pepper                    1 tsp
  • Sesame seed oil                                               1 tsp
  • Ginger (cut)                                        1 tbsp
  • Vinegar                                                                2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken with all ingredients except garlic and oil.
  2. Now heat oil and fry garlic then add chicken and cook well until water dries.
  3. For rice heat oil and fry ginger in it.
  4. Then add carrot, finely cut capsicum and peas and cook until they get tender.
  5. Now add soy sauce, vinegar, teriyaki sauce.
  6. Add brown sugar and black pepper and also add 1 cup water and cook until boil comes.
  7. Then add boiled rice and mix.
  8. Then add spring onion and sesame seed oil and mix well.
  9. When they got fry then put rice in mould and take out then put cooked chicken in center.
  10. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion then serve.
