Qeema Aalu Qatli

Ingredients:

  • Mince                                   ½ kg
  • Onion                                    2
  • Green chilies                      6
  • Tomatoes (blended)      1 cup
  • Potatoes (small)               ½ kg
  • Cumin                                   1 tsp
  • Turmeric                              1 tsp
  • Salt                                         1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper    1 tsp
  • Dried fenugreek               1 tbsp
  • All spice powder               1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds                  1 tsp
  • Whole red chilies             3-4
  • Ginger garlic                       1 tbsp
  • Oil                                           ½ cup
  • Crushed red chili              1 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Then add green chilies, tomatoes, turmeric, cumin and ½ tsp salt and saute it.
  3. Now add mince and 2 cups water and cover it.
  4. In a separate pan heat oil and fry whole red chilies, ginger garlic.
  5. Add crushed red chili, crushed black pepper, dried fenugreek and mustard seeds.
  6. Now pour it on potatoes and cover for 20 minutes then turn off the flame.
