Karhi Cholay

Ingredients:

  • Chickpeas boiled          250gm
  • Yogurt                           ½ kg
  • Gram flour                    2tbsp
  • Crushed coriander       2tsp
  • Crushed cumin             2tsp
  • Red chili                        2tsp
  • Turmeric                       1tsp
  • Salt                                1-1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves                  6
  • Chat masala                  1tsp
  • Onion                            1
  • Ginger garlic                 2tsp
  • Water                            2glass
  • Green chilies , coriander as required
  • Oil                                  ½ cup
  • Crushed chilies             1tsp

 

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onions , now add cumin , coriander.
  2. Add red chilies , turmeric , crushed chilies , curry leaves and ginger garlic roast well.
  3. Now add chickpeas and roast , now mix gram flour.
  4. Add yogurt and water and add this in chickpeas cook 30 min n low flame , when it gets thick dishout.
  5. Lastly add green chilies , coriander and chat masala and serve.
