Afghani Dum Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Sela Rice              ½ kg
  • Meat                    ½ kg
  • Carrot                  250gm
  • Apple                   2
  • Salt                      ½ tsp
  • Onion                  1
  • Tomatoes            250gm
  • Almonds              50gm
  • Raisin                   50gm
  • Black paper crushed 1tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic       1tbsp
  • Green Chilies       4
  • Clarified butter   ½ cup

Method:

  1. Soak rice for 4 hours and boil . now in mutton add 6 glass water , ½ tsp salt.
  2.  Add ginger garlic , green chilies and bring it to boil.
  3. When meat gets tender remove, now heat ½ cup ghee fry onions till brown.
  4. Now add boil meat and fry till brown.
  5. Now add tomatoes , stock , salt , black pepper and boil rice mix well.
  6. Now give dum to the rice.
  7. Now the remaining ghee add apple , carrots , raisin.
  8. Add almonds fry and sprinkle on rice and serve.
