Ingredients:
- All Purpose Flour ½ kg
- Yeast 1-1/2 tbsp
- Baking Powder 2 tsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Egg 1
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Take a luke warm water add 1-1/2 tbsp of yeast and 1 tsp of sugar mix it well until the sugar is dissolve and then leave for 15 minutes.
- When the yeast mixture is raised take a mixing bowl add ½ kg of all purpose flour add to taste salt
- Add 1 egg and then add 2 tsp of baking powder mix it well to make a dough cover the dough on a plastic cling
- Place the dish in any warm place.
- Take it out the dough and fold it with help of hands and make small balls roll it thickly with rolling pin.
- Take a oven proof tray grease with oil and set it to the tray and place the tray into preheated oven
- Bake it for 10 minutes on 200 C
- Take it out in a oven and serve it hot. Now pita bread is ready.
