Ingredients:
Black Chickpeas (boiled) ½ kg
Finely Chopped Onion 2
Curry Leaves 6
Tomaoto Paste 4
Green Chilies 6
Coriander Leaves ½ bunch
Oil ½ cup
Cumin Seeds 2 tsp
Red Chili Powder 2 tsp
Coriander Powder 2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Green Chilies, Coriander Leaves as required
Method:
• In a pan, heat oil, add finely chopped onion and fry until light pink.
• Add curry leaves, cumin seeds, red chili powder, coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and fry.
• Then add tomato paste, boiled black chickpeas and let it simmer on low flame for half an hour.
• Removes from the stove, add green chilies, coriander leaves.
• Channay ka salan is ready.
