Sweet Lassi by Zarnak Sidhwa in Food Diaries

 Ingredients :
 2 cups Chilled Yogurt
 1 ½ cups Chilled Water or Milk
 5 tbsp Sugar
 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
 or 2 tsp Rose Water
 6 to 8 Ice Cubes
2 tbsp Sliced Dry Fruits

 Method : Whisk curd well and add sugar and water or milk. now add 1 tsp of the crushed cardamom powder and a few saffron strands. as a substitute for cardamom powder, you can also add 2 tsp of rose water. pour lassi in tall glasses and serve. Decorate with a pinch or two of cardamom powder, saffron strands and sliced dry fruits.
