Mango shrikhand by Zarnak Sidhwa in Food Diaries

 

Ingredients:
Curd            2-3 cups
Mangoes Chopped    2
Green cardamom Powder    ½ tsp
 Saffron            1 pinch
Sugar                ½ cup

Method:
Hang the curd in a muslin cloth for 3-4 hours or until all the water has drained off.
Puree the mangoes. Add the thick hung curd to a blender along with cardamom powder, saffron and sugar. blend till smooth. pour shrikhand in individual serving bowls. chill and serve with hot pooris.
