Spicy Green Masala Chicken by Shireen Anwar at Masala Mornings

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (8 pieces)        1 kg
  • Corainder leaves             ½ bunch
  • Mint Leaves                12
  • Salt                         1 ½ tsp
  • Yogurt                    4 tbsp
  • Green Chilies                8
  • Ginger Garlic                1 tbsp
  • Egg                        1
  • Ingredients for Batter:
  • Flour                    4 tbsp heaped
  • Gram Flour                4 tbsp
  • Rice Flour                4 tbsp
  • Eggs                    2
  • Green Masala (ground)    1 tbsp
  • Salt                        ½ tsp

Method:

  1. Grind coriander, green chilies and mint  with yogurt and egg
  2. Now marinate chicken in this for 2 hours then steam for 20 minutes, till nearly done.
  3. Remove and cool.
  4. Make batter with all the given ingredients dip chicken in prepared batter and deep fry.
  5. Sprinkle with Chaat masala
