Ingredients:
Green Gram Split ½ kg
Turmeric 1 tsp
Tomatoes 4
Salt 1 tsp
Desiccated Coconut 4 tbsp
Onion 1
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Garlic 3-4 cloves
Red Chilies 2 tsp
Sago Beans (Boiled) 6
Rice (boiled) for serve
For Tempering:
Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Curry Leaves 6
Finely Chopped Garlic 1 tsp
Green Chilies 4
Oil, Ghee ½ cup
Method:
• In a pan, add green gram split, water, turmeric , salt and cook on low flame.
• In a blender, blended desiccated coconut, onion, cumin seeds, garlic cloves, red chili and water.
• Add in green gram split, tomatoes and mix well.
• Now add as required water in split.
• Then add sago beans, green chilies and removes from the stove.
• For Tempering:
• In a pan, heat oil add mustard seeds, cumin seedfs, curry leaves, finely chopped garlic, when aroma comes add in split and serve with boiled rice.
