Ingredients:
Green Gram Lentils ½ kg
Milk 250 gms
Sugar ½ kg
Green Cardamoms 6
Khoya 250 gms
Finely Chopped Almonds 50 gms
Finely Chopped Pistachio 50 gms
Ghee 250 gms
Kewra Water 1 tsp
Yellow Food Color ½ tsp
METHOD:
• Soak green gram lentils for half an hour.
• Now in milk add lentils, yellow food color and boil it.When lentils are done, remove from the stove and grind.
• Heat ghee, add ground lentils.Sugar and fry.
• When ghee surfaces, add khoya, finely chopped almonds, finely chopped pistachio finely chopped, kewra water and let it simmer for 5 minutes.Remove from the stove .Delicious mong ki daal ka halwa is ready to serve .
