Ravo (Parsi Halwa)

Ravo
Ingredients:
Semolina 4 large tbsp
Sugar 4 large tbsp
Butter 2 tbsp
Milk 16 oz
Cardamom powder ¼ tsp
Pinch of nutmeg powder
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Blanched and fried almonds a handful
Fried raisins a few

Method:
Melt butter add in semolina and sauté till light golden and an aroma of the semolina comes. Add sugar and stir till it dissolves. Add in the milk. Continue stirring. Add in the cardamom powder, pinch of nutmeg and the essence. Stir till thick and serve hot with blanched and fried almonds and fried raisins.
