IMLI CHICKEN by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (14 pieces) 1
  • Chopped green chilies 6
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Tamarind Paste ½ cup
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Black peppercorns 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Take 1 tsp white vinegar and 1 tsp whole black peppercorn.
  2. Mix it and grind it. Was chicken pieces and add it in the pan.
  3. Add in salt and 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste.
  4. Mix everything. Boil it and dry the water.
  5. Add oil in the wok and deep fry the chicken till it is golden brown and take it out.
  6. Take out half of the oil and add in 1 tbsp red chili flakes, 1 tsp white cumin and 1 tsp black peppercorn.
  7. Cook it for some time. Garnish it with green coriander and serve hot.
