Ingredients:
- Chicken ½ kg
- Potato ½ kg
- Bay Leave 2
- Large Cardamom 2
- Green Chili 4
- Onion 250 grams
- Ghee 250 grams
- Yogurt 475 grams
- Whole Black Pepper 1 tsp
- Nutmeg & Mace 1 tsp
- Black cumin Seeds 1 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Red Chili Powder 1 tbsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
- Kewra 1 tbsp
- Finely Chopped Ginger 1 tbsp
- Coriander Powder 1 tsp
- All Spice Powder 2 tbsp
Method:
- In a frying pan heat 250 grams oil and add ½ kg Potato and dish out in plate.
- Now in same oil add 250 grams onion and dish out.
- Take ½ kg chicken 475 grams yogurt, 2 tsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp ginger garlic Paste, 1 tsp cumin seeds. Leave it for half an hour.
- In a frying pan add masala chicken. Cover, cook for half an hour.
- When chicken gets tender, add chopped potato and onion. Cook and sauté.
- After this add 2 glasses of water and cook for half an hour.
- Also add chopped 2 bay leaves, 4 cardamom, 1 tsp nutmeg and mace. And cook for more half an hour.
- In the end turn off the flame, add 2 tbsp kewra, 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger along with 4 green chilies.
- Ready to serve.
