Aalu Bhujia Recipe by Shireen Anwar

Aalu Bhujia recipe by Chef Shireen Anwar on live Masala TV program “Masala Mornings”.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes (boiled) 4
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Onion Seeds 1 tsp
  • Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves few

Method:

  1. Cut potatoes in small squares and boil and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil; add mustard seeds,onion seeds, garlic and little water.
  3. Then add dry spices.
  4. Fry well add potatoes curry leaves, 1 cup water, cover and cook then slightly mash potatoes serve garnished with coriander and green chilies.
