Afghani Naan

Ingredients:

  • Flour 2 cups
  • Yeast 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Milk as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter as required

Method:

  1. Mix flour, yeast, ghee, sugar and ghee in a bowl.
  2. Take Luke warm milk and make soft dough.
  3. Let it rest for 30 mins minimum.
  4. When the dough has fully risen, punch down the dough and make small round balls.
  5.  With the help of your hand flatten it out and let it rest again.
  6. In a pre heated oven (200c) bake the naan for 10 to 12 minutes.
  7. After taking them out of the even spray a few drops of water and brush the naan with butter.
  8. Serve hot.
