Afghani Pulao Recipe

Afghani Pulao
Ingredients:
Rice 1 kg
Oil 1 cup
Chicken 1 kg
Onion (Fried, browned) 1 kg
Allspice 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Raisins (Washed, soaked) 1 cup
Oil 3 tbsp

Ingredients:
Soak rice for at least one hour.
Boil rice till its cooked. Drain and set aside.
Heat oil in a big pan. Add fried onions along with the chicken and fry it till chicken is tender.
Add salt and 1 tsp allspice.
In another pan, put a layer of rice, and then add chicken. Sprinkle a little allspice on top.
Repeat layering, ending with the layer of rice and add fried raisins on the top.
Simmer it for at least half an hour and then dish out.
