Ingredients:
- Boiled Potatoes ½ kg
- Red chili flakes 1 tbsp
- Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
- Mustard powder 1 tbsp
- Roasted and crushed cumin 1 tsp
- Lemons 2
- Chopped green chilies 4
- Chopped green coriander 1 bunch
- Salt to taste
- Oil to fry
- Flour ½ kg
- For Dough:
- Jaggery water 2 tbsp
- Carom seeds ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Soda bi carbonate 1 tsp
Method:
- To make dough, take ½ kg flour, jiggery water, salt and ½ tsp carom seeds, 1 tsp soda bi carbpnate.
- Mix everything together and make a dough.
- Keep it for some time to rise.
- Peel the potatoes and mash them.
- Add in 2 lemon juice and 1 tbs red chili flakes, 1 tsp crushed black pepper
- Add some salt, 1 tbsp mustard powder, 1 tsp roasted and crushed cumin and green chilies. Mix them well.
- Take some oil in the pan.
- Take the dough and spread it, add in the mixture and fold it and deep fry them.
- Till they are golden brown.
- When the kachoris are golden brown serve them with tamarind chutney and green chili chutney and yogurt.
