Anday Ka Halwa Recipe by Shireen Anwar

Ingredients:

  • Khoya half kg
  • Eggs 9
  • Pistachios (crushed in chopper) 250 grams
  • Almonds with Peel (crushed) 1 ½ pao
  • Cardamom Powder 1 tsp
  • Jayfil (ground) ½ tsp
  • Javitri (ground) ½ tsp
  • Ghee 2 ½ cups
  • Sugar (ground) 2 ½ cups
  • Saffron half tsp soak in half cup milk

 

Method:

  1. In a pan add khoya, keep stirring till its melt, and becomes thin, add in sugar, keep stirring till sugar melts about 10 min.
  2. Add in ghee keep stirring continuously start adding in beaten eggs, very gradually and keep stirring on very low flame.
  3. Then add saffron mix with milk keep stirring all the time till ghee come on top.
  4. Lastly add choti Elaichi jayfil , javtri powder, almond and pistachio and remove.
