Anise And Fennel Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Peanut
  • 2tbsp Sesame seed
  • 1/2 tsp Anise seed
  • 1/2 tsp Fennel seed
  • 1/2 cup Ghee or butter
  • 1 Egg
  • pinch Salt

Method:

  1. Blend the sugar, peanut and seeds with a food processor.
  2. Add the flour to the previous bowl and stir with a wire mixer.
  3. Cut the butter in small dices and add to the bowl. Mix it all with your hands.
  4. Whisk the eggs and Pour inside the bowl. Mix with a spatula or with your hands until you get an homogeneous dough ball.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180ÂșC
  6. Place the dough between two butter papers and press with your roll until you get a flat dough about 8mm thick. Place inside the freezer and take out after 10 minutes.
  7. Cut the cookies and place back inside the freezer for another 10 minutes.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes approximately or until the edges become brown.
