BBQ DISH by Shireen Anwar

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 300 grams (cubed)
  • Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Chicken Tikka Masala 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg a pinch
  • Cumin (roasted & Crushed) ½ tsp
  • Onion (chopped) 1
  • Ingredients for rice:
  • Boiled Rice 3 cups
  • Garlic (crushed) 2 tsp
  • Salt & Pepper ¼ tsp each
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Coriander Leaves (chopped) 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Ingredients for yogurt dip:
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Cream 2 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise 2 tbsp
  • Green Chutney 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Mix all together
  2. Method for rice:
  3. Heat oil, add garlic then add rice with all seasonings and coriander leaves , toss well and remove.
  4. Method for Chicken:
    Heat oil 4 tbsp, fry 1 chopped onion till light golden
  5. Add chciekn with all the seasonings and cook till chicken tender
  6. Lastly add cream, give dum of coal.
  7. Remove chicken in a rice platter and rice on the other side of platter. Serve hot
