Beef Shami Kabab By Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Beef Cubes ½ kg
  • Gram Lentil 1 cup
  • Red Chilies 8
  • Black Pepper 6
  • Black Cardamoms 2
  • Cinnamon a piece
  • Garlic 4 cloves
  • Ginger 1 small piece
  • Coriander Seeds 1 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Yogurt 1 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves (chopped) 1 bunch
  • Mint Leaves (finely chopped) 1 bunch
  • Green Chilies (Julienned) 4
  • Onion (finely chopped) 1
  • Ginger (Julienned) 1 piece
  • Egg Whites 2
  • Corn flour/ Rice Flour 2 tbsp
  • Oil to fry

 

Method:

  1. Wash beef pieces and boil it together with gram lentil with big cardamom, black peppercorn, red chili, salt, coriander seeds, cumin and hot water.
  2. Cook it till the meat tenders.
  3. Chop the boiled meat.
  4. Add in coriander, mint leaves, Chopped green chilies, onion, ginger, corn flour and white cumin.
  5. Grease your hand. Make kabab and fry them till golden brown.
  6. Serve hot.
