Beetroot Hummus by Zarnak Sidhwa at Food Diaries

Beetroot Hummus Recipe

Ingredients:

Chickpeas (boiled and cooled) 2 cups
Beetroot (boiled, peeled and cubed) 1
Garlic (crushed) 3 cloves
Tahini paste 3 tbsp
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Olive oil 1 tbsp
Olive oil for garnish
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice of 1 lemon
Red chilli powder for garnish

Method:
Combine all the ingredients in the food processor and pulse for a few minutes or till it forms a smooth paste. Garnish with a little olive oil and red chilli powder. Serve with pita bread and vegetables.
