Behari Murgh Karahi

Ingredients:

  • Chicken                                                ½ kg
  • Yogurt                                   250 gram
  • Sesame seeds                   1 tbsp
  • Peanuts                                               1 tbsp
  • Almonds                              1 tbsp
  • Crushed red chili              2 tsp
  • Papaya paste                     1 tbsp
  • Milk                                       ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic                       1 tbsp
  • Salt                                         1 tsp
  • Turmeric                              1 tsp
  • Coriander powder           2 tsp
  •  Ginger garlic paste          1 tbsp
  • Oil                                           ½ cup
  • All spice powder               1 tsp
  • Onion                                    250 gram
  • Tomato                                                2
  • Green chili, coriander     as required
  • Poppy seeds                      1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put papaya paste, ginger garlic paste and yogurt on chicken and leave.
  2. Heat oil and fry onion in it. Then add tomatoes.
  3. Add salt, turmeric, coriander powder, crushed red chili and all spice powder and saute gravy well.
  4. Roast sesame seeds, peanuts, almonds and poppy seeds then add to gravy.
  5. Now add marinated chicken and cover it.
  6. When chicken get tender saute well and add milk.
  7. When 1 to 2 boil comes add green chilies and green coriander.
