Boneless Behari Chawal

Ingredients:

  • Sela rice (boiled)              ½ kg
  • Boneless chicken             1 kg
  • Yogurt                                   125-250 gram
  • Onion                                    2
  • Papaya                                                 2 tsp
  • Red chili                               2 tsp
  • Cardamom                          4
  • Star anise                            4
  • Plum                                      50 gram
  • Black cumin                        1 tsp
  • Whole black pepper       1 tsp
  • Salt                                         1 tsp
  • Turmeric                              1 tsp
  • Nutmeg, mace                  ½ tsp
  • Screwpine                           1 tsp
  • Yellow food color             1 pinch
  • Mint                                      ½ bunch
  • Green chilies                      4
  • Coal                                       1

Method:

  1.  Put yogurt, papaya, red chili, salt, plum, cardamom, star anise
  2. Add black cumin, turmeric, nutmeg, mace, ginger garlic paste
  3. Add whole black pepper and screwpine on boneless chicken and leave for 20 minutes.
  4. Now fry onion till brown then add meat and cook on medium flame.
  5. When water get dried then add mint and green chilies.
  6. Now add boiled rice and yellow food color and simmer on slow flame for 20 minutes.
  7. At end give coal smoke.
