Boondi Raita Recipe by Chef Gulzar at Dawat

Ingredients:

  • Boondiyan        100 grams
  • Yogurt             250 grams
  • Crushed and Roasted Cumin Seeds    1 tsp
  • Crushed Red Chili    ½ tsp
  • Crushed Black Pepper     ½ tsp
  • Crushed Fennel Seeds    ½ tsp
  • Coriander         ½ bunch
  • Mint Leaves         ½ bunch
  • Salt             to taste

Method:

  1. Take 100 grams of bhoondiyan soak it on water
  2. when its raised take it out from the water, take a blender jug add 250 grams of yogurt
  3. Add 1 tsp of crushed and roasted cumin seeds, ½ tsp of crushed red chili
  4. Add ½ tsp of crushed black pepper, ½ tsp of crushed fennel seeds, ½ bunch of coriander, ½ bunch of mint leaves
  5. Add to taste salt blend it take it out all the mixture in a serving bowl add bhoondiyan and serve it.
