Brinjal with Spicy Masala

Ingredients:

  • Brinjals 2 kg
  • Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
  • Finely Chopped Onion 1
  • Yogurt 250 g
  • Red Chili Paste 2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala 1 tsp
  • Crushed Black Chili ½ tsp
  • Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
  • Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
  • Crushed Peanuts ½ cup
  • Green Chili Paste 2 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

 

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and to it add onion and fry
  2. Add garlic paste and fry
  3. Then add whipped yogurt
  4. Add turmeric, salt, green chili paste, garam masala, red chili paste, black pepper and mix well
  5. Now add brinjals and cook until soft
  6. Add peanuts and lemon juice
  7. Mix well
  8. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, then dish out and serve
