Channay ki Daal Gosht Recipe by Shireen Anwar

Ingredients:

  • Mutton ½ kg
  • Yellow Lentil (soaked) 250 grams
  • Tomatoes (sliced) 3
  • Green Chilies (chopped) 4
  • Mint leaves ½ cup
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Brown Onions ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp heaped
  • Turmeric ½ tsp
  • Coriander Powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Cumin Powder 1 tsp heaped
  • Chili Powder 2 tsp heaped
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • All Spice ½ tsp
  • Green Chilies (chopped) 4

 

Method:

  1. Heat oil, add brown onion with mutton.
  2. Tomatoes, ginger garlic, and dry spices fry well.
  3. Add 1 cup water cover and cook for 15 – 20 min, then add in the soak daal,
  4. Cover and cook till daal and mutton tender, add allspice, green chilies, mint leaves and serve.
