Ingredients:
- Drumsticks ½ kg
- Cayenne Pepper 4
- Lemon 1
- Potatoes 2
- Whole Red Pepper 4-6
- Green Chilies 4-6
- Garlic 6-8 cloves
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Ginger (chopped) 1 tbsp
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Tamarind Paste 2-3 tbsp
- Oil 8-10 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in pan, add garlic, whole red pepper, Cayenne Pepper and cumin, stir well.
- Now take another pan and sauté chopped garlic, add drumsticks, fry then add water to the pan.
- Blend all spices together.
- Heat oil in another pan, fry sliced potatoes, add some water and cook well.
- Add blended chilies paste to drumsticks with tamarind paste, salt, sugar and lemon juice.
- Add salt and chopped green chilies to potatoes.
- Add ginger to drumsticks; remove potatoes and drumsticks together in a platter.
- Lastly pour the remaining masala from the pan and garnish with ginger. Serve hot
