Cheese Filled Potato Balls

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes (boiled & mashed) half kg
  • Red Chili Powder                   1 tsp
  • Salt                                          1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice                            2 tbsp
  • Oil                                           for deep frying
  • Mozzarella Cheese (grated) 1 cup
  • Eggs                                        2
  • Gram Flour                             half cup
  • Bread Crumbs                        2 cups

Method:

  1. Mash the potatoes add the salt , chili powder and juice, mix together.
  2. Take mash potato mixture in your hand add a tsp of grated cheese.
  3. Shape the potatoes around the cheese to seal completely.
  4. Keep aside on a tray.
  5. Refrigerate the balls for 2 hours.
  6. Roll each ball first in gram flour then in egg, finally in bread crumbs, deep fry until golden.
