Chicken Badami Qorma

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1-1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Onions (finely chopped) 4
  • Cayenne 4
  • Coriander Seeds 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Screw pine water few drops
  • Almonds 12
  • Poppy Seeds ½ tbsp
  • Green Cardamoms 6
  • Caraway Seeds 1 tsp
  • Clarified Butter 1 cup

 

Method:

  1. Boil Cayenne pepper with some water and vinegar.
  2. Now grind it with coriander and green chilies.
  3. Heat oil in a wok and fry onions, add cayenne paste with chicken, ginger garlic and water.
  4. Cook till water dries off.
  5. Add whole spices.
  6. Now add 1-1/2 cup water, cover and cook .
  7. When oil/clarified butter appers on top add caraway seeds, poppy seeds, ground cardamom and screw pine water.
  8. When oil is visible on top, remove in a platter and serve.
