Chicken chana daal masala
Ingredients
Boneless chicken 300 gm cut into 1 inch cubes
Chana daal 250 gm boiled till tender
Onion chopped 1 cup
Ginger chopped 1 tbsp
Green chilies chopped 4
Tomatoes 3 to 4 sliced
Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
Cumin powder 1 ½ tsp
Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
Allspice ½ tsp
Curry powder ½ tsp
Kasori methi 1 tsp
Oil ½ cup
Ingredients for baghar
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Curry leaves 15 to 20
Method
Heat oil add curry leaves and mustard seeds, add chopped onion and fry till light golden add ginger chopped with all dry seasonings, add tomatoes and fry well adding little little water, lastly fold in the boiled daal with all spice, kasori meth, leave it on dum, lastly add green chilies and coriander leaves.
