Chicken Cheese Tart by Shireen Anwar

Ingredients:

  • Puff Pastry 250 gram
  • Ingredients for chicken filling:
  • Cooked Chicken 2 cup
  • Onion (chopped) 1
  • Garlic (crushed) 1 tbsp
  • Sweet Corn ½ can
  • Cheddar Cheese (grated) ½ cup
  • Milk 2 cups
  • Flour 2 tbsp heaped
  • Chili Garlic Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Butter 2 oz
  • Coriander Leaves 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black Pepper 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp

 

Method:

  1. Roll the puff pastry into a 9 inch round and cut strips in the rest of pastry.
  2. Apply egg wash on the pastry prick with fork put the strips all around to make an edge.
  3. And bake at 200 degrees for 10 min. Remove from oven.
  4. Cool spread the filling and cheese.
  5. Again bake for 15 min.

 

Method for filling:

  1. Heat butter in a pan.
  2. Add crushed garlic and onions, fry for 2 min;
  3. add 2 cups chicken, flour, milk, seasonings, chili garlic sauce, sweet corn lastly coriander, cheese
