Dajaj Masala

Ingredients:

 

  • Whole chicken        1
  • Tomatoes blended 2cup
  • Lemon                       2
  • Vinegar                     ½ cup
  • Garlic cloves                        2
  • Garlic                         1piece
  • Curry leaves             2
  • Onion                                    2
  • Capsicum                  2
  • Potatoes                   2
  • Tomatoes                 2
  • Nutmeg                     as required
  • Mace                          as required
  • Green chilies            as required
  • Cardamom               2to3
  • Salt                             ½ tsp
  • Oil                               ½ cup
  • Garam Masala                     ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder ½ tsp
  • Red chili powder    ½ tsp
  • Coriander                 ½ bunch
  • Rice                            3cup
  • Olive oil                     as required
  • Cumin grinded        1tsp

 

Method:

  1. In a pan, add 1 cup of water, chicken,vinegar, lemons ,salt  and boil it.
  2. When dries the water, add tomato paste, garlic , ginger, garam masala powder, red chilli powder , olive oil, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. In separate pan, add potatoes, capsicum, onion,tomatoes and chicken.
  4. Then add nutmeg, mace , cardamom, coriander leaves, green chillies and boiled rice.
  5. Now in a water add saffron and dissolve it.
  6. Then add in chicken and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
