Chicken Mughlai Qorma

Ingredients:

  • Chicken                                1 kg
  • Chopped onion 4
  • Ginger garlic sliced           1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder              1 tbsp
  • Coriander            2 tbsp
  • All spice powder               1 tsp
  • Black cumin        1 tsp
  • Chopped almonds           10
  • Cardamom powder         8
  • Yogurt   1 packet
  • Salt         to taste
  • Clarified butter 1 cup

Method:

  1. In a bowl, take 1 kg chicken,1 cup beaten yogurt, 1 tbsp ginger garlic chopped
  2. Add 1 tbsp red chili powder, 2 tbsp red chili, 2 tbsp coriander
  3. Add 1 tsp all spice powder and some salt.
  4. Mix it and marinate the chicken.
  5. Take some oil in the pan, add in chopped onion and fry it till it is golden brown.
  6. Take it off on a paper and dry it.
  7. Crush the onion and add it in the chicken.
  8. Now take some oil in the pan, and add in chicken and cook it on a low flame.
  9. Add in 2 cups of water and 10 chopped onion, cardamom powder
  10. Add black cumin powder and ½ tbsp poppy seeds.
  11. Cover the pan and cook it for 10 minutes on a low flame. Serve it hot with nan.
