Chicken Pie By Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • 1                      Shredded chicken breast
  • 1                      Onion, cubed
  • 2                      Tomatoes, cubed
  • 1tbsp               Tomato purée
  • To taste           Salt
  • To taste           Black pepper
  • 200 g               Cream
  • 1 cup               Corn
  • 2 cups              Milk
  • 1 tbsp              Butter
  • 1                      Onion, chopped
  • 3 tbsp             Flour
  • ¼ bunch          Parsley
  • 200 g               Parmesan cheese
  • As required     Oil

Method:

  1. Heat oil. Sauté the onion, add the shredded chicken, tomato, tomato purée and salt and pepper.
  2. Add the cream and place it in a baking dish. Mash the corn with the milk and the flour.
  3. In a pan, brown the onion with the butter and combine with the corn mixture.
  4. Season with salt and add the parsley.
  5. Mix until creamy.
  6. Place on top of the chicken, cover with parmesan cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees C for 15 min.
