Chicken Sticks in Creamy Mashroom Sauce

Ingredients:

  • boneless chicken ½ kg cubes
  • garlic paste 1 tsp
  • salt ½ tsp
  • black pepper ½ tsp
  • soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • oregano 1 tsp
  • chili powder 1 tsp
  • baking powder ½ tsp
  • crushed red pepper ½ tsp
  • ingredients for coating
  • flour ½ cup
  • corn flour ½ cup
  • egg 1
  • water ¼ cup
  • salt and pepper ¼ tsp each
  • ingredients for mushroom cream sauce
  • butter 2 ounce
  • crushed garlic 1 tsp
  • chopped mushrooms 6
  • cream 200 gm
  • salt and pepper ½ tsp each
  • chicken powder ½ tsp
  • finely chopped parsley to serve

 

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken cubes with all the given ingredients
  2. Put on wooden skewers, make batter with flour, corn flour, egg, salt and pepper, and water as required.
  3. Coat sticks in batter
  4. Fry with chicken skewers until golden, make sauce in a sauce pan while heating butter, fry garlic
  5. Add mushrooms and cream, season with salt pepper, chicken powder, and cook till thick
  6. Pour over chicken sticks in the platter.
  7. serve garnish with chopped parsley.
