Chicken Tikka Kabab recipe by Shireen Anwar is being revealed at live cooking program “Masala Mornings” only on Masala TV.
Ingredients:
- Boiled and mashed potatoes ½ kg
- Salt 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Cumin roasted and crushed 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves 2 to 3 tbsp
- Green chilies chopped 2
- Ingredients for filling:
- Boneless chicken breast 2 cut in tiny cubes
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Chicken tikka masala 2 tbsp
- Onion chopped 4 tbsp
- Yogurt 2 tbsp
- Grated cheddar cheese 4 tbsp
- Ingredients for coating:
- Egg 1
- Bread crumbs 1 cup
- Vermicelli crushed ½ cup
Method for chicken:
- Heat oil; add chicken and fry for 5 mins.
- Add ginger garlic paste 1 tsp with chicken tikka masala and yogurt.
- Cook till chicken tender and dry.
- Lastly add in cheddar cheese.
- Mix and remove.
- Boil and mash the potatoes.
- Add in salt, pepper, cumin, lemon juice, coriander and green chilies.
- Mix well.
- Take some potato mixture in hand.
- Put some filling, shape into kebabs.
- 11. Dip in egg then crumbs.
- 12. Fry till crisp.
