Chili Garlic Prawns Recipe

Ingredients

• 2 tbsps oil

• 1 onion (large, chopped)

• 2 tomatoes (large, chopped)

• 1kg prawns baby

• 8 green chilies

• 1 tsp chili powder

• 1 tbsp ground coriander

• 1/2 tbsp ground turmeric

• 1 tsp tara garam masala (ground)

• salt (to taste)

• 1 tsp ginger paste

• 1 tbsp garlic chopped

• 250 ml water

• 1/2  bunch coriander (chopped, leaves)

Cooking Method

Heat the oil in a frying pan or wok. Then add the chopped onions,tomato and stir fry them until they turn soft.. Chop  of the green chillies  add them as well.

After that, add the dry spices. Add the ginger and garlic. Then put  water and mix them thoroughly. Stir fry for 5 minutes.

When 1/2 of the water has evaporated, and the water starts to boil, lower the heat and put Then add the prawns. Stir fry them for about 5 minutes.Cover with lid  and lower the heat  for about 3-5 minutes.

Serve hot. Top the dish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
