Ingredients
K&N’s Tender Pops – 25-28 pieces
K&N’s Stok – 1 cube
Oil – ¼ cup
Garlic – 2 tbsp; chopped
Spring onion (white part) – ½ cup; chopped
Garlic sauce – as required
Water – ½ cup
Slurry – ¼ cup (3 tbsp corn flour dissolved in ¼ cup water)
Red chillies – 2-3; sliced
Spring onion (green part) – as required; chopped
White sesame seeds – for garnishing
Oil – for greasing
Method
In a pan, heat oil, add garlic, green onion (white part only) and let it fry for 2 minutes.
Add garlic sauce and let simmer for another 2 minutes.
Add water, K&N’s Stok cube and cook until dissolves.
Gradually add slurry and cook until sauce starts to thicken.
Fry K&N’s Tender Pops as per instructions on pack. Add into sauce and toss well.
Sprinkle red chillies and green part of the spring onion, cook for a minute and turn off the flame.
Garnish with sesame seeds.
Heat a sizzler plate and grease with oil. Transfer prepared Chinese Chicken with Garlic Sauce and serve.
Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
Chilli garlic sauce – 2 tbsp
Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
Sesame oil – 1 tsp
Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Brown sugar – 1½ tsp
Method
Add all the ingredients in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
