Ingredients:
Fish Cubes ½ kg
Soya Sauce 2 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
Corn Flour 2 tbsp
spring Onion to garnish 1
Brown or white Rice to serve
For Brown Sauce :
Oil 1 tbsp
Chopped Garlic 1 tsp
Ginger 1/2 inch Piece
Diced Onion 1
Diced Capsicum 1
Sliced Green Chilies 4-5
Corn Flour 1 tbsp
Water 1/4 cup
Soya Sauce 1 tbsp
Vinegar 2 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Method:
Marinate fish in soya sauce, vinegar, salt, red chilli powder and 2 tbsp cornflour for 15 minutes. Sear on a hot pan, a couple of minutes on each side. Add brown sauce and Simmer for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with spring onions and serve with brown/white rice.
For the brown sauce, heat oil, add chopped garlic and thinly sliced ginger, diced onion, diced capsicum, sliced green chillies. Stir-fry for 2 minutes. Now add about 3/4 cup water and bring it to a slow simmer and add the cornflour mixed with 1/4 cup water and soya sauce, vinegar, salt and sugar. Simmer for 2 minutes till glossy.
