Ingredients:
- Chicken 1 kg
- Rice 750 gm boiled half done with salt
- Oil ¾ cup
- Brown onion crushed ½ cup
- Chili powder 1 tbsp
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Whole green chilies 8 to 10
- Cloves 6
- Green cardamom 6
- Green cardamom grinded ½ tsp
- Nutmeg grinded ¼ tsp
- Mace grinded ¼ tsp
- Aalu Bukhara 12
- Water 2 cups
- Salt 1 tsp heaped
- Allspice 1 ½ tsp
- Kewra water 1 tsp
- Method for rice
- Boil water with salt, cook rice till half done and strain.
Method:
- Heat oil add in brown onion, yogurt, chicken, cloves, green cardamom, green chilies, chili powder and salt, cook chicken covered for 20 minutes with 1 cup water when water dries, fry chicken add aalu Bukhara, grinded cardamom, mace and nutmeg powder, cook on medium flame, lastly add allspice and Kewra.
- Top with boiled rice, put yellow color and leave it on dum for 15 minutes.
