Ingredients:
Flour 2 ¼ cups
Baking Soda 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Unsalted Butter ¾ cups
Caster Sugar ½ cup
Packed Brown Sugar 1 cup
Vanilla Essence 1 1/2 tsp
Eggs 2
Chocolate Chips 2 cups
Method:
Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Beat butter with caster sugar and brown sugar till creamy. Add vanilla essence and eggs one at a time. Beat well and add in the flour mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop balls of the chocolate chip cookie dough onto baking sheets a few inches apart. Bake at 180 degrees C for 8-10 minutes, until just set and golden on edges. Remove from baking tin and let cool on a wire rack. Once completely cold then store in an air tight.
